“The boat trip, snorkelling, lunch, drinks and beach time were good. However, they did not pick me up from my hotel as advised, so I had to make my own way to the docks (on the east side of Rio Dulce/Romana, below Club De Caza Y Pesca in Urbanazión Buena Vista Norte, north of the Cruise Terminal, below the train and road bridges). Other tourists have said the same thing about the lack of hotel pick up, so the option should not be given.”

Review of Catalina Island’s two-site scuba tour from Punta Cana, with boat transfers, BBQ beach time, costs, safety notes, and booking advice.

“The transport took a long time. A total of two hours had passed from "Breathless Punta Cana" to "La Romana". The boat was very old and filled with guests (about 40 to 50 people). All the equipment seemed very old and run down. Wetsuits were only available in large sizes (no S, an M which was very worn, otherwise only larger). I had two dives and on each I had to change my regulator with octopus as the parts weren't working. The food was good. The dives were good too. While many corals are damagedmany were preserved and alive. You saw a lot of fish and even several rays. The…”
